Adrian can't see his fish!

Adrian as a 2000 gallon pond approx 4 ft deep with a mixture of Goldfish, Orfe, Ghost Koi, and Mirror Carp. The pond has been up and running for a couple of months but the water is full of algae and he can't see the fish.

Adrian currently has a fishmate 30000 uv pressurised filter and a cyprio prima xl 5000 pump running constantly (there is a 5ft lift to the filter from the bottom thru 32mm pipe).

The question is, does Adrian need a bigger pump?

If there is a 5' lift from the surface of the water to the filter then your pump at the moment is only filtering 900 gallon per hour

If this is the case then you need to increase the turnover through your filter to one and a half times your pond volume once every hour. The Oase Aquamax 16000 would be ideal for coping with this volume at a head height of 5'.
