How do you know which liner to use in your garden pond?
Pete is building a semi-circular pond 12 x 6 feet. He wants to use a liner but with a raised 3 tier double bricked wall capped with narrow slabs. The water level will be raised about 9" above ground level and the overall pond depth will be approx 22 feet.
Pete wanted to know which would be the best pond liner and fleece for this purpose and if it will be difficult taking the liner up between the 2 rows of bricks without damaging it especially in the 2 corners.
Our resident expert assured Pete that as long as he uses a professional underlay there should not be a problem. The products advised in this instance are a Butyl Liner and a Geotextile Underlay.
