The API Aqua-Detox removes toxic ammonia, nitrite and nitrate from your fish tank.

The API Aqua-Detox should be used when starting a new aquarium or whenever ammonia or nitrite is detected. It should also be used whenever nitrate measures above 20 ppm (mg/l).

It allows rapid aquarium start-up and offers optimum microfiltration with superior resins and zeolite.

The Aqua-Detox  uses multi-stage filtration to remove small and large aquarium pollutants. 4 sized micro-filtration pad for micro-filtration, filled with superior resins for chemical filtration. 100% of water passes through the cartridge for best efficacy. No by-pass. Easy to change, no mess.

Nexx replacement Aqua Detox cartidge for the Nexx Filter and Nexx Filter Extension. Includes two size 4 cartidges.

In new aquariums replace weekly for one month. In established aquariums replace every two months or when undesirable levels are detected.
