Seachem Matrix Carbon

Matrix Carbon outperforms other high grade carbons by twice as much in terms of removing aquarium organic matter, rate of adsorption, and duration of use.

One of the keys to Matrix Carbon is the shape - it is in the form of spherical beads, this increases the hydrodynamics, permitting water flow.

MatrixCarbon has the lowest detectable phosphate content of all major carbon brands and a very low ash content meaning it will have minimal impact on pH.

The filter medium works because of the combination of microscopic cracks and crevices (known as macropores and micropores) which means it can filter metals and smaller ions (like trace minerals) but aso larger organic molecules like nitrogenous waste.

Directions:

• 250ml will easily treat 400 litres for several months.
• MatrixCarbon is very clean and nearly dust free. For best results, MatrixCarbon should be placed so as to maximize the flow of water through it.
• It may be used in a canister filter, chemical filtration module, box filter, or any high flow area of a trickle filter.
