The new Hydor Smartwave Controller allows you to connect pumps and run them in two modes.

The Smartwave connects the Koralia Evolution 240volt pumps and runs them in 2 modes:

Simultaneous mode which allows 2 pumps or more to run in off and on patterns between 5 seconds and 6 hours.
Alternate mode allows 2 pumps or more to be run one off and other on based on set timings.

There is also a fish food mode which when set can be coordinated with an automatic fish feeder so that the pumps are off when the feeder operates. After a few minutes the pumps reset to your initial mode setting.

You can use up to 100w maximum per socket ( 200w for the complete unit).

This means for the 5200 Koralia evolution you can use 10 pieces per socket running together - so Smartwave is a very versatile unit.
