King British White Spot Control has been developed to prevent damage caused by parasites such as White Spot, Costia and Trichodina. Parasites latch themselves onto fish and absorb their body fluids, this can drain the fish and in some cases can actually kill them.

White Spot can be difficult to recognise but some of the tell tale signs are:-

• Your fish may try to scratch themselves on surfaces in the pond.
• You may be able to see pin head sized white spots on your fish.
• You may notice that your fish have rapid gill movement.

White Spot is one of the most common parasites to affect fish, it can't be seen for the first 2 days of infection but then presents itself as small white spots which cover the body and fins (which can disintegrate) of your fish.

After 5-7 days the spots break into smaller parasites and re-infect your fish and so it is important that you stop the parasites as soon as possible to limit the damage caused.
