Salifert Phosphate Killer

A reduced phosphate concentration will allow corals and coralline algae to grow much faster and reduce the occurrence of some toxic heavy metals, silicate and organics which are hard to remove by skimming or by using activated carbon.

Salifert's Phosphate Killer has a very high surface area on which phosphate can be adsorbed and the binding capacity of this product is substantially higher than other similar, iron-based products currently on the market.

It binds phosphate more strongly than most other phosphate removing products (such as those using aluminium oxide) and does not leach toxic aluminium.
