Seachem SeaGel

SeaGel gives you the best of both worlds of carbon based impurity removal and phosphate removal as it combined two superb products, MatrixCarbon and PhosGuard.

Both Matrix and Phosguard are bead shaped so water can flow and penetrate easily and the components are ideal for reef and marine use.

MatrixCarbon is an ultracapacity carbon for the removal of organic and colour impurities. It has the lowest phosphate content iof all major carbon brands although some phosphate is still released so the addition of PhosGuard compensates for this. PhosGuard is designed to remove phosphate, silicate, toxic metals and acids.

Directions:

Use 500 ml for each 300–450l (80–120 gallons). Use in a filter bag. Rinse in freshwater before use. Use caution, since product will fizz and heat on initial wetting. SeaGel will function 3–4 months. May also be used in freshwater that is not phosphate buffered.
