Eheim Pickup Filter Cartridges

Eheim Pickup Filter cartridges are precision filter media which provide both mechanical and biological filtration for your Eheim water pump.

The rectangular design of the foam is unique to the Pickups, while the coarse filter pad allows beneficial bacteria to easily colonise the foam, which will process the ammonia within the tank and converting it to nitrite and eventually nitrate.

It is advisable that you should never rinse your filter foams under ordinary tap water, as this would kill the beneficial bacteria and as a result endanger your aquarium inhabitants.
