One of the most significant differentiating characteristics relative to the previous Nautilus generation are the filter wings attached to the side that have the benefit of a larger strainer surface. In other words, the filter area is larger than the main body of the filter.

The attached wings can be removed from the pump and can be positioned close to the pond bank via a supplied special adapter.

This means the pre-filter can be easily maintained from the side of the pool.
