Tetra Nitrate Pond Test Kits are an ideal way of ensuring that your ponds water is healthy for your precious fish.

Nitrite is produced from the breakdown of ammonia in the filter. Nitrite is highly toxic to fish, but is usually removed from the water by the bacteria which live inside the filter.

How To Use

• Take a water sample from your pond.
• Add the Nitrite Test Liquid as directed.
• Your water sample will change in colour.
• Compare the colour change to the chart included with you test kit.
• This will determine the level of Nitrite in your pond.
