The Aqua Medic Riff 1000 Marine filtration system is designed for installation in the cabinet under an aquarium. In a compact space it contains nearly all the equipment necessary for the maintenance of a successful modern reef aquarium.
The system comprises a sump, 90 x 36 x 35 cm (c. 36" x 14.5" x 14"), with a mechanical filter chamber containing sponges. From here, the water flows via two venturi pumps into twin turboflotor 1000 protein skimmers, with their post skimming trickle towers loaded with Bactoballs.
Additional components are the Nitratereductor and the Calcium Reactor with Dosing pumps SP 3000 and the Niveaustat, a system for automatic replenishment of evaporated fresh water from the aquarium.
Dimensions (l x w x h): 95 x 36 x 64 cm (c. 38" x 15" x 25.5").
For the installation minimum additional 15 cm (c. 6") are required.
Water connections: inlet - union D 50, outlet to pumps - 2 x D25/32.
