Eheim Professional 2 External Thermo Filter SALTWATER:

The high-tech external canister filters generation as thermofilter with priming support is full of innovative technology for aquarium sizes up to 600 litre.

EHEIM thermofilters not only feature the benefits and technical extras of the proven professionel II series but they are also equipped with a high quality, integrated heater (Integrated Heating System - IHS) and a digital, external temperature control.

The heater element and the water thermo sensor are located in the filter base. Therefore a heater in the aquarium is not required. The water temperature is controlled by the button fitted on the filter housing. A control lamp indicates the function of the heater element. The large priming cylinder on the pump head is not only a special design element. The filter system is filled with this convenient priming support at “the push of a button“ and immediately the system starts working. Complicated priming principles for which every aquarium owner developed his own more or less inconvenient and often also wet technology are now a thing of the past.

The supplied hose adapter is equipped with shut-off valves. When the safety adapter is mounted, the flow rate is adjusted with the combi-lever.

If the hose connection is disconnected, the combi-lever is also used but in conjunction with the red safety catch. The lever is easier to use and faulty operation is virtually impossible.

In the hose adapter the flow rate indicator displays the flow rate. This way you can see the filter efficiency at a glance.

EHEIM high performance ceramics, i.e. high quality ceramic components, provide for very quiet continuous operation characteristics.

The high quality filter canister is equipped with practical filter baskets. Filter baskets are easy to take out and to fill.
