The Aqua Medic Sulphur Reactor is a Bioreactor filled with sulphur beads. They promote the growth of special bacteria that remove nitrate.

The Sulphur Reactor should always be used in combination with the Hydrocarbonate Reactor.

Inside the Aqua Medic Hydrocarbonate Reactor, the sulphuric acid that is produced in the Sulphur Reactor is neutralised.
