The Aqua Medic Aquaspacelight 400 luminaire is the "big brother" of the aquaspacelight.And is available at Swell UK at an unbelievable price. It is designed for 250, 400 and 1000 watt metal halide lamps and ensures that now even the largest reef aquariums can be fully illuminated.
In the 400 watt version, the ballasts are included in the housing whilst the 1.000 watt version has an external gear box.
The luminaire is extruded from salt water proofed aluminium and powder coated. Borosilicate UV protection glass is standard. The 250, 400 watt version is available in single and twin lamp models whilst the 1000 watt version is manufactured as a single lamp luminaire.
