REEF LIFE KH BUFFER is a supplement to replenish the carbonate buffer in reef aquariums to stabilise the carbonate hardness (alcalinity).
To dose the KH BUFFER, a stock solution has to be prepared. Dissolve 1 bag (375g) of REEF LIFE KH BUFFER in 5 l destilled water. 25 ml are enough for an average reef aquarium with 100 l volume per day.
In aquariums with many hard corals, the buffer requirement has to be checked with a good KH test kit, so the dosage can be adjusted.
The addition of REEF LIFE KH BUFFER can be automised using the REEFDOSER, a dosing pump controller.
REEF LIFE KH BUFFER should always be used in combination with REEF LIFE CALCIUM, in order to stabalise not only the KH content, but the calcium concentration.
