Those looking for hose reel and pipe solutions could follow one commentator's recommendations and build a shed.
Gardeners looking for somewhere to store their hose pipes and reels could follow one expert's advice and build an eco shed.Daily Telegraph contributor Jean Vernon detailed how she purchased the storage solution for her yard, explaining the installation was completed "from the ground up".
Working with her husband, she first treated the ground under the shed with a weed block, before forgoing a concrete base for interlocking tiles.
The walls of the structure were painted with a coat of blue protector, while she alleviated concerns about rats gathering underneath by filling cavities.
Next, a living roof was installed on the environmentally-friendly shed - this was constructed from sedum rather than grass due it its lightweight qualities.
Animal habitats were the final consideration, including insect and bird boxes.
Earlier this year, Ms Vernon blogged for the Royal Horticultural Society at the Chelsea Flower show, where she suggested DIY gardeners could find numerous new ideas and inspiration.
Those with water features could be complimented by roses, which the commentator marvelled at during the event.
