Starting off pond season

Starting off pond season

Pond season is upon us and for those new to the hobby there are many options for a first pond.

Traditionally a rubber pond liner or PVC pond liner is favoured but if you don't want to have to worry about measuring and cutting the liner you could always opt for a ready made pond.

Preformed ponds are a good option for the beginner. These ponds are flexible but come ready-moulded in naturally irregular shapes.

From 65 litres to 470 litres, there are five different sizes of preformed pond you could opt for.

A more stylish option are the Blagdon Affinity Ponds which are free-standing ready made ponds which look amazing on a  patio or terrace.

In different sizes and shapes like the Octagon, Pillar and Half Moon these feature ponds are a real showpiece.

The rattan panels will also brilliantly complement your rattan garden furniture.

Best of all the Affinity ponds include a combined pump and filter which also power a fountain display.

The ponds have shatter proof windows too which make it great for you and your children to see your fish clearly and interact with them. They also come with a night time LED for those chilled out evenings entertaining.

So whether you follow the tried and tested pond liner method, you opt for a preformed pond, or you choose one of our free standing feature ponds, you are guaranteed a stunning addition to your garden this summer.
