Bermuda Pond Heater

Be ready for winter with the Bermuda Pond Heater. This simple device can keep an area of the pond free of ice to ensure the pond surface is free from ice. This will allow vital oxygen into the water to keep your precious fish alive.

As an additional benefit it will also allow the release of toxic gases (marsh gas) from the water which can be caused by the vegetation and waste matter.

If your pond ices over your fish are dependant on the oxygen present in the pond, which simply won't be enough. During the summer months aquatic plants produce oxygen, but in the winter these plants cease to do so, forcing fish rely on oxygen from the surface of the pond.

With a keen eye on safety this heater has a five metre outdoor cable, allowing for safe connection to your power supply.

The Bermuda Pond Heater has a foam float so you can easily keep an eye on the heater and be sure it stays at surface level.

The heater has a polished brass casing, for quick and efficient heat transfer and a 150 wattt element for economical use.

It is suitable for pond sizes up to 25 square feet. However If your pond is larger than this you can use multiple heaters.

Once correctly installed, your pond heater couldn't be easier to use. During the winter months,  leave your heater in the pool permanently, but only switch it on when there is danger of icing.
