Fish Mate Compact Bio Pond Filter

The Fish Mate Bio Filter Compact, is a powerful three stage mechanical and biological filtration system for use in domestic ponds.

For ease of use it is designed to be used with a large range of pond filtration systems, to be positioned at ground level with the pond and can be used in conjunction with an additional UV filtration system.

Its includes coarse filter film which is capable of filtering out large pieces of debris and dirt while the large surface area of the Supra filter media promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria, which remove harmful impurities from the ponds water.

For added security this compact and efficient filtration system also comes with a three year guarantee.

Installation Recommendation:

• Maximum pond volume in full shade with waterplants and fish stock up to 25cm (10") of fish per 500 litres (100 gallons)
• Maximum pond volume in full sun or partial or partial shade with waterplants and fish stocks up to 25cm (10") of fish per 500 litres (100 gallons)
• Maximum pond volume in full shade with koi or fish stocks up to 50cm (20inch) of fish per 500 litres (100 gallons)
• Maximum pond volume in full sun or partial shade with koi or fish stock up to 50cm (20") of fish per 500 litres (100 gallons)

Flow Recommendations

The flow through the filter should should be approximately 50% of your pond volume every hour. e.g.  For a 5000 litre (1000 gallon) pond, you will require a flow of around 2500 l/h (500 gph)
