Velda Clear Control 100 - Pressure Filter

The Clear Control 100 Pressure Filter from Velda is a highly effective filtration system, because of the decomposition of floating dirt within the filter beneficial bacteria will quickly develop within the filter, removing harmful toxins from the water.

There is a variety of filter media within the filter, including activated carbon, biological substrates and foams. The filter also includes a control handle which can be set to six different positions.

The pressure filter will filter away large debris and dirt while the biological media ensures purificiation of the water.

Control handle positions:

• Back flush - allows easy cleaning of the filter media
• Back wash the valve -ensures proper running
• Drain the pond
• Filtration - as normally used
• Medicine - bypassing the filter media so that the treatments are not removed from the water
• Complete stop - allowing the pump to be cleaned

Although they do not come fitted as standard there is an option to have two UV clarifier bulbs fitted to the filter.

The filter has been equipped with a cassette filled with zeolite filter material. Different filter materials can be used and should be applied depending on the type of pond the filter is to be used in.

Clear Control 100 - for lightly stocked ponds such as goldfish, up to 60,000 litres, or for heavily stocked ponds (koi) up to 30,000 litres.
