Hozelock Ecoclear

Ecoclear is a combination of Bioforce UVC and our new Aquaforce solids handling pump, designed specifically for moving water to the filtration system.

The Aquaforce pumps are even designed for wildlife ponds, with their unique Wildlife Protection System designed to protect small fish, newts, frogs, etc from accessing the pump.

Because of the UVC capability, in the correct size pond the Hozelock Ecoclear is guaranteed to give you green free water leaving it crystal clear for your view.

Bioforce product characteristics at a glance:

• Bioforce is a pressurised system, meaning a smaller, less obstructive container size is needed, that can be buried next to the pond out of sight
• Pressure also means that filtered water can travel up to the top of a waterfall without the need to be placed at the same high level as you would need to do with a box filter.
• Standard equipment in Bioforce includes both a UVC and biological filtration capability - clear water is therefore guaranteed when used with the correct size pond
• Bioforce now has an Easy Clean "back-flush" facility for flushing debris out of the filter, making it more time efficient and less hands on.
• This is also aided by use of new "flow through" coarse foams, which efficiently remove waste particles whilst also reducing cleaning frequency.
• Each foam is more porous than the other allowing the foams to eliminate debris from going back into the pond.

Aquaforce product characteristics at a glance:

• Aquaforce pumps are designed to work in the most demanding of pond environments and have to cope with continuous operation, pumping water laden with solid material.
• They have the ability to pump solids up to 8mm without blocking, making this less maintenance for the user.
• The large intake slots are specifically placed at the base of the pump in order to collect solids from the floor of the pond (These slots can be closed during wildlife spawning times) - this design maximises the effectiveness of the pump for filtration.
• The larger models in the range (6000,8000,12000,15000) are able to be connected to a satellite strainer, allowing you to have two separate suctions in different parts of your pond making your pond bottom cleaner. Or you can use it with a pond surface skimmer taking out all the floating leaves, debris etc from the surface for a better and clearer view.
