Magnesium is essential in a reef aquarium, as corals need it to support healthy, strong skeleton growth. As magnesium is naturally depleted from water, especially in densely packed aquariums, levels must be tested and restored accordingly. Aquarium Systems SeaTest - Magnesium is the ideal product for easily and simply checking your magnesium level.
- For seawater.
- Value recommended: 1200 to 1400mg/l of magnesium.
- Too low a level impairs coral growth and coralline development (calcareous seaweed).
- The test displays the calcium value in graduations of 50mg.
