Blagdon MiniPond UVC

The Blagdon MiniPond is a green water UV clarifier to help you rid your pond of free floating green algae - the leading cause of green water in ponds.

Made by the pond experts over at Blagdon, the MiniPond is extremely effective for the long term control of green water by exposing the algae particles to UV radiation. The UV light kills the algae and causes it to fuse together into larger particles. While free floating algae is too small to be trapped by your pond filter, these larger particles are not, so they are taken in by your filter and broken down as they die by the beneficial filter bacteria, leaving you with superior water clarity.

Because it only uses UV light, the Blagdon Minipond UVC is a chemical free solution with no detrimental effects to the pond and its' surrounding environment. It simply increases water quality and ensures the destruction of algae and green water.

With a tiny 5w power consumption, the Blagdon MiniPond is efficient, safe and simple to install, and features a weatherproof, low-voltage transformer. Highly adaptable, it is effective in conjunction with all filter systems and gives you noticeable difference in days.
