What is eSHa Gastrobac?

Gastrobac is a medicinal treatment made by industry experts eSHa. It's designed to treat bacterial slime disease and other bacterial infections that can affect a fish's slime layer/skin. A single 10ml bottle can treat up to 500L of water.

What causes bacterial slime disease?

A large amount of decomposing, organic material in your aquarium can encourage the growth of problematic bacteria. This bacterica can cover all sorts of surfaces in your aquarium, not just a fish's skin but plants, rocks, and ornaments too.

This Gastrobac treatment from eSHa stops this bacteria in its tracks. It can also be used as a preventative measure for treating new plants or ornaments before they are introduced to your aquarium, to make sure you don't transfer any problematic bacteria from another system.

How do I dose eSHa Gastrobac?

This eSHa Gastrobac comes in a small bottle with a handy dropper that allows you to easily dose it directly to your aquarium. To dose this treatment, follow these instructions:

• Day 1 - add 20 drops of Gastrobac per 100L of water
• Day 2 - add 10 drops of Gastrobac per 100L of water
• Day 3 - add 10 drops of Gastrober per 100L of water

Please note: eSHa Gastrobac contains copper and is therefore not suitable for use in aquariums that house snails, shrimps, and other aquatic intervertebrates. It is, however, safe for fish and aquatics plants.
