The Oase AquaOxy Air Pump is perfect for your pond. It helps to disperse oxygen around the water, which means no stagnant areas and healthy plants and fish. Well known for their expertise in aquatic equipment, Oase have combined high quality technology with convenient features in this efficient air pump.
Available in three models, the AquaOxy is suitable for ponds up to 20,000 litres. It can be positioned out side the pond (approx 2m away). The valves can be adjusted for the perfect flow.
Wherever you keep it, the AquaOxy is quiet - it has a specially designed motor which runs almost silently, so won't cause any noise disturbance. The housing is robust and secure, so you can be confident that the unit will last. Oase are so confident, in fact, that they cover this item with a 2 year guarantee.
It also contains 2 air stones that will attach to the pump to create a stream of bubbles which will aid oxygen dissemination. In the 1000 and 2000 models, the air stones are wear free, saving time and money. Two lengths of 5m hose will ensure that you can direct the air flow wherever you choose.

Product failed to work completely. Had to change the diaphragm and then it worked very poorly in only 1 inch of water. Product returned. No reply yet from Swell in terms of replacement or credit. -

Perhaps, on reflection, this excellent product is a little over-engineered for my application (simple pond aeration). Having said that, it is a sturdy, professional piece of kit that's about the size of half-brick and will need to be housed in an enclosure of some kind, as it's too obtrusive (I feel) to be kept "pond side". However, this should not be a problem as it's equipped with 6m of flexible, polythene tube in white . . . Hmmm, as white is rather prominent, it might have been better had the tube been in green, black or blue.
It comes with the requirement to be hard-wired or fitted with a plug that's safe to use externally. It might have been useful to explain this more prominently in the online product description (unless of course it was and I just didn't notice it!!) It was the only slight irritationI had. -
