What are the features of this marine fish tank?

Red Sea Reefer marine aquariums are constructed from ultra-clear, bevelled-edge glass. This rimless glass has an increased thickness of 12 mm. All Reefer tanks sit upon marine-spec laminated cabinets made from plywood panels that follow the contour of the glass ensuring your aquarium is fully supported. It features level-able feet and stainless steel hinges.

A market leader in aquarium equipment, Red Sea is known for its aquatic expertise. Reefer G2+ aquarium systems allow you to combine LED lighting, dosing and wave pumps plus filtration into one smart system using the ReefBeat app.

Reefer 250 features dual side-facing return pump outlets that offer optimal water circulation. The piping is neatly hidden away in a large central overflow box, which houses a large surface skimmer with removable comb parts for quick and easy tank maintenance. By straining all surface debris, you will have crystal clear and healthy aquarium water. The overflow box also houses the silent downflow system which is designed with a new and improved high-precision valve and an enlarged rectangular inlet to the downflow pipe. As a result, noise is reduced and water flow can be easily regulated. All pipework is included and comes assembled and glued, so all you need to do is assemble your tank.

The sleek cabinet houses a REEF-SPEC sump as well as a mechanical filtration media compartment. This removable, ReefMat-ready mechanical filtration compartment is complete with micron filter socks and media cups. Your aquarium water filters through the filter media before entering an adjustable height skimmer chamber for optimal skimmer performance. A bubble-removing cascade removes any air bubbles from returning to the aquarium.

Red Sea have combined the popular Reefer tank system with the very latest ReefLED 90 lighting. The LED lighting kit includes 2 ReefLED 90 lights and a custom mounting system that bolts firmly into the rear wall of the aquarium and which can be rotated upright during reef-scaping. This reef-safe LED light creates a gentle shimmer throughout the aquarium while promoting coral growth and dramatic colouration. The ReefLED lights are guaranteed to be reef-safe and are very easy to set up.

With the built-in WiFi, you can control your aquarium lighting remotely from your smartphone using Red Sea's dedicated ReefBeat app. At the heart of the unit is a single, compact LED array that includes a multi-wavelength, 23,000 Kelvin "REEF-SPEC Blue" channel (a proprietary blend of blue, violet and ultraviolet LEDs). Together with an 8,000K White channel, this lighting provides a reef-safe range of colour temperatures which enable all corals to flourish. In addition, a separate dedicated 3W moonlight channel provides low levels of light for reef-safe night-time viewing.
