Bacteria Home media is a high-grade filter medium made of porous ceramic bars of mineral rock making them an excellent biological filter media best for capturing the good bacteria from your pond water as it flows through your filter. High concentrations of good bacteria settle in the microscopic pores in the rock which in time will improve the quality of your water improving pH, oxygen content stabilisation and also filter out any harmful particles such as nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia.

A medium to high flow is recommended for maximum performance.
