They are extremely effective flow-through gravity filters that incorporate unique filter foam media for efficient mechanical and biological filtration. Each filter box features an UV clarifying lamp to help rid water algae and harmful bacteria.

The Swell Filter Box Premium UV is durable, made from the highest quality materials and simple to install and maintain. These filter boxes are best used to purify water in large sized ponds. This large model is capable of filtering ponds up to 25,000 litres and is ideal for wildlife, community and Koi ponds. The kit includes an incorporated 18w UV Clarifier, located within the lid (for easy access) that will eradicate green water completely from your pond.
The filter kit comes complete with 10 foams in total, 5 course foams designed for catching larger debris and 5 fine for catching all but the tiniest debris particles. These foams are great for biological and mechanical use. For extra filtration this model comes complete with 2 media trays that can be filled with additional biological media such as Alfagrog, foams or even Carbon or Zeolite. Maintenance couldn't be any easier with its in-situ filter foam cleaning mechanism which allows you to squeeze the foams free of dirt without even getting your hands wet! The dirty water can then flushed out of the filter box with the sludge drain found at the bottom of the box.
