What is Swell Stone Pond Liner?
Swell Stone Pond Liner is a stone-covered liner designed for pond edging and building waterfalls, streams, and rocky shores. Made from high-quality pond liner with natural pea gravel glued onto the surface, this is a great way to give your pond a more natural look.
How should I use stone faced pond liner for edging?
When installing a garden pond, it's common for bare pond liner to be left exposed. By adding a flap of stone covered pond liner over the top you can conceal this bare liner, and provide easier pond access for wildlife. The weight of the edging strip should hold it in place, but placing rocks on top gives greater security. It's also great for hiding exposed cables and pipes.
How do I use this to create waterfalls?
If you're creating a waterfall or stream you can use a wider length of stone faced pond liner as the base. A wider area of liner helps catch splashes, which reduces the need to top up the pond so often. Simply add creases, pools, and rocks to give a more natural cascade.
What colour are the stones on this liner?
Swell Stone Pond Liner comes in two colours. The Natural one has a pea gravel finish and includes various shades of brown, beige, and white. It's also available in a Mottled finish, which includes various shades of black, grey, and white.
What sizes are available?
This stone covered pond edging isn't designed for building a complete pond, so comes in relatively narrow 40 cm, 60 cm, and 1m widths, and various lengths.
