The Swell Myriophyllum red stem plant is bright green with feathery foliage and red stems above the water. If planted deeper, the leaves convert to an underwater leaf form which is a darker reddy colour and it is these which oxygenate the water. Little maintenance is required. Remove excess growth if necessary. Use in full sun to partial shade.
