Product Information

These filter bags made by TMC are great for polishing off water that contain fine debris and even micro bubbles. A stand can be purchased separately for easy instillation or you can simply put them in your sump. Available in 3 different micron sizes and are made from nylon or polyester to ensure maximum clarity.

All sizes are 4" in diameter and because of the shape they have a massive surface area so they work much better than a foam or wool.

Short Socks: 4" wide & 9" long

Long Socks: 4" wide & 14" long

    Product is appalling, not at all what I expected. The filter socks said pull the label off, when I did the stitching started to come loose. Poor quality

    Ordered 9 inch tmc short filter socks. Was sent 14 inch long. Redelivery was still 14 inch long. Filter socks look good but as i cant be bothered with more phone calls and i just know another delivery will be wrong i'm keeping these and i'll make it work. Someone at swell needs to change the listing as its clearly wrong. Either that or someone in the warehouse is really messing up.

    Looks well made but is a fair length, haven't measured it but it's longer than 'usual', for me at least. Probably 12 inches, my others are only 7 and fit my sump well.
    It'd be an issue if your sump isn't very deep.
    I bought mine to drip Lanthanum so the length wont be an issue.
