What is the Swell Golden Damselfish?

The Golden Damselfish is an elegant and vibrant addition to a marine aquarium. Their golden colour develops as they mature, as the juvenile Golden Damsels are quite silver toned in appearance, which over time develops into a shimmering golden hue, adding a sense of magnificence to your tank. Although not completely a peaceful species, these Golden Damsels are one of the most peaceful of the damselfish, but in a larger tank, they will be much less territorial and can even be kept in a group or alone. These damsels are also known to be quite hardy, tolerating a wider range of water conditions, which makes it a great choice for beginners as well as experienced marine tank keepers. Despite their ability to handle a range of water conditions, it is always best practice to maintain the best conditions possible to suit the needs of your marine life. These fish are suitable for living alone, in pairs or even in groups if in an adequately sized tank to prevent territorial behaviour. Golden Damsels have an eye-catching golden body, which really reflects the beauty of underwater life.

How are these fish delivered to you?

The delivery time for your fish will be two working days if ordered before 2pm Monday - Thursday, and if you ordered after 2pm on a Thursday until Sunday then they should arrive with you by Tuesday. They will arrive in a polystyrene box and be bagged with oxygen which will allow them to stay packaged for up to 48 hours, if they are ordered during winter they will also come with heat pads for warmth. There is a one off £30 delivery charge regardless of how many fish you buy per order.
