How does this Swell Replacement Cog Set work?

This Swell Replacement Cog Set works in partnership with a smaller plastic cog to squeeze the sponges inside your filter. Whenever you turn the handle on top of your Swell Pressure Filter Premium, these cogs spin and squeeze your sponges against an internal roller. This process removes a lot of built-up waste and debris from your sponges, which can then be removed from your filter using its backwash outlet.
