These TMC Kreisel aquariums come in two different models: Kreisel 10 and Kreisel 15. Both models are powered by a USB-A adapter, which comes included.

The Kreisel 10 and Kreisel 15 differ in volume, with the former having a capacity of 10 litres and the latter a capacity of 15 litres, but they share the same design and features, such as:

How do these TMC Kreisel aquariums work?

These TMC Kreisel aquariums are very different to your standard fish tanks. They're specially designed to keep water moving in a gentle, laminar motion, preventing any dead spots in the aquarium. These are the kinds of conditions which jellyfish need to survive and thrive.

As water circulates around the aquarium, it passes through a filter screen at the top of the aquarium's rear wall. It's then forced through some filter media before it's sucked up by the pump and sent back through the filter screen to complete another cycle of the aquarium.

Which kind of jellyfish can I keep in these TMC Kreisel aquariums?

These TMC Kreisel aquariums are quite small, which means that only certain species of jellyfish are suitable to be housed in them - so that's a no to Giant Lions Mane Jellyfish, sadly!

Fortunately, though, there are several small and beautiful species that are suitable to be housed in a TMC Kreisel aquarium, including Moon Jellyfish (Aurelia aurita), Cannonball Jellyfish (Stomolophus meleagris) and Spotted Jellyfish (Phyllorhiza punctata)
