Aqua One Ocellaris Filter Sponge

Replacement Sponge Pad to go into the Aqua One Ocellaris External Fitler. Replace every 3 - 6 months, or as required, just remove the old one and slot in the new sponge!

These provide optimum biological filtration, with bacteria colonising on the sponge surface, to help maintain clear and clean water. The Ocellaris 850 and 1400 models have a choice of Fine or Coarse sponges, depending on your filtration needs. The Fine sponge will collect smaller particles, and is helpful for tanks with sand in for example, and both will be ideal surfaces for good bacteria to breed on, ensuring your water is kept at its' best.

These are best used alongside the Aqua One Ocellaris Wool Pads for optimum filtration.
