What is the Swell Bumble Bee Snail?

The Bumble Bee Snail is a gorgeous species of snail which has yellow and black bands along its shell which gives it the appearance of a bee. They are a nocturnal species and when they find a spot they like they don't tend to move very far from that location so make sure to provide adequate hiding spaces for them. They are a carnivorous species so they will not eat any of the algae that could be in your aquarium, they will eat dead organisms or any leftover meaty food. If your aquarium doesn't provide sufficient food for the snails then you can feed them directly with brine or mysis shrimp
