Details
eSHa Ndx is an aquatic roundworm treatment that is levamisole-based. This can be used in freshwater and marine aquariums, and will work against many species of parasitic nematodes, including Camallanus, Capillaria, Pseudocapillaria, Eustrongylides, and Oxyuris.

  • 20ml bottle treats up to 454l for the recommended course, though longer treatments may be required
  • Suitable for all freshwater sytems, and fish only marine, though is not to be used with any invertebrates or corals
  • Effective against nematodes, including Camallanus, Capillaria, Pseudocapillaria, Eustrongylides, and Oxyuris.
  • Ndx comes as a 20ml treatment bottle, and is not suitable for us with shrimp, crayfish or other invertebrates, and whilst it can be used on marine aquariums it should not be used with corals, anemones, urchins or other invertebrates.

Signs to look out for on your fish to see if they require this treatment include changing in skin colour or appearance, and clamped fins. Parasites can sometimes cause unusual swimming behaviours as well, and are sometimes visible to the naked eye.

What can I use with this treatment?

Unlike most of the eSHa range, this should not be used in conjunction with any other treatment at the same time, though after treatment has finished it is actively recommended to also use a regular daily dose of eSHa Optima for good fish health too, acting as a great preventative for stress and disease.

How do I use this treatment?

To use, start with your initial dose on day 1, using 100 drops per 100ml (100 drops is 4.4ml). On day 2, a 50% water change should be completed. In the case of some oviparous nematodes a repeated treatment may be required after 14 days to ensure that any recently hatched eggs are dealt with. As with most treatments, you should remove any chemical filtration that you have whilst you are treating the aquarium.

Is this treatment suitable for my aquarium?

This is suitable for use with freshwater systems, both tropical and coldwater, and can be used on marine fish in quarantine systems, though it could be harmful to marine invertebrates and corals.
