What is the Swell Halloween Hermit Crab?

The Halloween Hermit Crab is a gorgeous species of hermit crab that resembles many halloween decorations with their red and orange stripes. They are nocturnal creatures that are pretty active and will be looking for food most of the time. They are generally quite friendly but aren't completely harmless, especially when they do not have all of the requirements that they need. They will eat pretty much anything in your aquarium such as detritus and algae such as cyanobacteria, but if there is not enough in your aquarium to feed on then you can supplement them so that they have all that they need to not become aggressive. Generally these crabs are reef safe and will not eat your corals but they can damage them by accidentally knocking them over or by walking over them so it is best to glue your corals down to prevent any unwanted damage.

How are these fish delivered to you?

The delivery time for your fish will be two working days if ordered before 2pm Monday - Thursday, and if you ordered after 2pm on a Thursday until Sunday then they should arrive with you by Tuesday. They will arrive in a polystyrene box and be bagged with oxygen which will allow them to stay packaged for up to 48 hours, if they are ordered during winter they will also come with heat pads for warmth. There is a one off £30 delivery charge regardless of how many fish you buy per order.
