What is the Swell Nano Button Scoly Coral?
The Nano Button Scoly corals are a beautiful small species of LPS coral which are round in shape. They prefer low to medium lighting and when adding a Nano Scoly into your aquarium it is best to start with a low light level and slowly increase it slightly to moderate, as too much light will damage this coral. They will filter feed on the nutrients in the water column but it is best if you also target to feed your coral with meaty foods such as krill or brine shrimp at least 2-3 times a week. While the Scolymia are not necessarily aggressive, it is best to provide plenty of space for them as they are a solitary species and tentacles will emerge from the coral to make sure that nothing has come too close to its personal space
