These Oase Filtoclear pressure filters are a breeze to use thanks to a range of handy features. The entire unit can be easily buried up to the filter head to keep out of sight. Within the filter head, there's an innovative UVC filter with a UV light and quartz glass chamber, which shines on algae and causes it to clump up, making it easy to remove during mechanical filtration. The filter chamber contains media for both mechanical and biological filtration. This includes filter sponges and filter foam which remove waste particles such as seeds, fish food and small leaves.

One of the most popular features of the Filtoclear range is the cleaning lever built into the filter head. The lever presses the filter sponges together to remove dirt and grime via the waste outlet, leaving the sponges clean. The Filtoclear shouldn't be used alongside pond treatments as they can cause damage to the hardware.
