What is the Reefer-S 1000?

The Reefer-S 1000 is the biggest model in the Red Sea Reefer range and it is an absolute goliath with deeper and wider dimensions than the rest of the range. The titanic tank is tricked out with all the modern features of a thriving reef aquarium, including an adjustable height skimmer chamber, a large surface skimmer and an innovative split sump. The tank and marine-spec laminated cabinets combo also come with lots of finishing touches, including assembly-ready piping featuring a high-precision valve and hidden adjustable feet. With the Reefer-S 1000, you will have all the tools you need to create the ultimate aquascape.

This Red Sea Reefer tank is available in both black and white. It can also be bought with or without an LED lighting kit.

What are the features of this marine fish tank?

As with many of the models from the Red Sea Reefer range, the Reefer-S 1000 is packed with features that help it to stand out in the marine fish tank market including:

• 19mm Ultra-Clear Glass - The entire display tank is made from extra-thick ultra-clear glass, the glass gives a complete view of your reef from all directions as well as enhanced protection against cracks and leaks.
• Fortified Internal Framed Aquarium - The aquarium has a thin, jet-black frame threaded through it to further protect the tank from damage. The frame is designed to be easily concealed, ensuring a great view of your reef.
• Aluminium marine spec cabinet - The aquarium sits on a purpose-built marine spec cabinet featuring a laminated plywood exterior and a robust aluminium super-structure that serves to completely support your display tank. The extra-fortified plywood cabinet also conceals the split sump and features a contemporary design that creates a 'floating tank' effect.
• Surface Skimmer and Dual Return Pump Outlets - The surface skimmer runs up the back of the display with a wide inlet to collect water with optimal skimmer performance and bring it down to the split sump via the silent downflow system sump piping, which features a new high precision valve enabling finer flow adjustments. The filtered water, and any top-ups, are returned via dual outlets for optimal water circulation.
• Professional Main Sump and Extension Sump - The spilt sump is made up of a large main professional reef spec sump chamber for standard filtration and an extension sump, which you can easily connect or disconnect to the main sump. The extension sump has a wide range of uses and can be used as a dedicated frag tank, larger refugium or an extra filter chamber.
• Chiller and Hardware Chamber - This chamber sits next to the extension sump and can store all your preferred hardware including chillers, giving them easy access to the sump.
• Control Panel - A plywood panel sits to the right of the sump chamber, allowing you to mount hardware, such as aquarium controllers, with ease.
