What is the Reefer-S 850?

The Reefer-S 850 from Red Sea is a Red Sea Reefer aquarium tank with deeper and wider dimensions to allow you to build a larger, thriving reef aquarium. It features an adjustable height skimmer chamber, a large surface skimmer and a split sump system for unrivalled filtration. The complete unit is absolutely outstanding and boasts many finishing touches like the high precision valve on the piping enabling finer flow adjustments and the hidden adjustable feet found beneath the unit.

The Reefer-S 850 can be bought with either a black or white finish and with your choice of lighting kit.

What are the features of this marine fish tank?

Like all Red Sea Reefer aquariums, the Reefer-S 850 has a bunch of features that sets it apart from the crowd:

• 19mm Ultra-Clear Glass - The display tank features thick ultra-clear glass that gives a fantastic view of the aquarium from any angle and protects against devastating cracks or leaks.
• Fortified Internal Framed Aquarium - A thin jet-black frame has been threaded through the aquarium to reinforce the glass and further protect the tank from damage.
• Aluminium marine spec cabinet - This laminated plywood cabinet has a robust aluminium super-structure designed to fully support the weight of the aquarium. The cabinet is designed to match the lines of the display tank to create a 'floating tank' effect.
• Surface Skimmer and Dual Return Pump Outlets - The skimmer is in a large central overflow box in the centre of the tank that runs down the tank and into the main sump, piping water via the silent downflow system and assembly-ready piping. The water, and any top-ups, can then be released back into the aquarium via the dual return pump outlets for optimal water circulation.
• Professional Main Sump and Extension Sump - The split sump system features a large main sump for filtration with a mechanical filtration media compartment. However, there is also a second sump chamber that can be connected to the main sump to act as a dedicated frag tank, optional refugium compartment or an extra filter chamber.
• Chiller and Hardware Chamber - Next to the extension sump, there's space for other aquarium hardware, such as chillers. This allows you to create the ideal setup for your aquarium so you can really make it your own.
• Control Panel - A panel within the aquarium can be removed for easy access and mounting of all your preferred hardware. The panel is close to the extension sump, making the set-up of any hardware very easy.
• Compatibility with the ReefBeat app - A lot of the equipment in this kit can be controlled by the easy-to-install and simple-to-use ReefBeat app.

There is an LED lighting kits that can be bought with the Reefer-S 850. This kit contains three of Red Sea's most powerful 160W Reef LED light units to completely cover your reef in essential light. Each of the units comes with a mounting arm for easy set-up and security.
