Why is molybdenum important for my marine aquarium?

Molybdenum is an essential element involved in a variety of different enzymatic and metabolic processes, a lot of which are incredibly complex. In a reef tank, it has a strong influence on the diverse colouration of corals. To achieve the best and most diverse colouration, pair Molybdenum Reef Minerals with Vanadium Reef Minerals at a ratio of 3:1or 4:1.

Molybdenum also regulates copper toxicity for invertebrates and protects animals from exposure to high levels of light radiation. A high concentration of molybdenum will help protect corals from light stress and the negative effects that typically come with it.
