What is the Swell Scribbled Anthias?
The Scribbled Anthias is named after the very distinctive and unique intricate markings on its body that are reminiscent of scribbles. These intricate markings are one of the main appeals of the Scribbled Anthias, making it very desirable amongst marine fish enthusiasts. These anthias feature bright shades of orange and purple and yellow, and whilst the females have a more subdued gentle colouration, they have usually more of a delicate pink or orange tone, with patches surrounding their tails, and the males of the species exhibit a much brighter red or purple shade. The Scribbled Anthias is a very energetic and active fish and are very entertaining to watch travelling around their environment, frequently being spotted exploring and socialising. A very lively addition to your marine aquarium, the unique patterns and bright colours will be a standout display in your tank.
