What is Swell Aquarium Bioactive Pearls?

Swell Aquarium Bioactive Pearls is a liquid product containing a concentrated biological culture of slow-release bacteria and enzymes. It is intended for use in freshwater only and is suitable for tropical fish and coldwater tanks. 

What are the benefits of this media?

• Eliminates nitrite, ammonia, and toxins from fish waste.
• Reduces organic waste and helps keep the water pure and clear.
• Promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria in the filter.
• Is suitable for use as a starter for the biological filter.
• Maintains existing bacteria. 

How do you use this media?

To activate the biological filter or as a starter: Add 1 teaspoon of the product for every 10 litres of water and use it for 10 days.

For filter maintenance: Add 1 teaspoon of the product for every 25 litres of water twice a week and insert directly into the filter.

For use in tanks without a filter: Add 100ml or 100g of the product for every 10 litres of water with 4-6 goldfish that are 3-4cm each, once a month, directly into the water. Replace 50% of the water once a month. Replenish the product as needed and replace it every month depending on the aquarium population.
