What are the Swell Pond Box Filters?

The Swell Pond Box Filter Kit contains a high quality filter box with an optional compatible pump. Using both together will ensure your water quality is effectively maintained and improved, ensuring your pond is healthy and free of algae. These are ideal for small to medium size ponds, of up to 10,000 for a wildlife pond. 

Each box filter is available alone, or as a kit with suitable pump, 5m of pipework and 2 clips, great to get you started on your perfect pond. Both of the 5000 and 10000 kits are incredibly efficient and great value for money. Suitable for both new and experienced pond keepers!

What is the difference between the filters?

Available in two sizes, you can choose the perfect model for your pond:

• Swell Pond Filter 5,000 - Designed for wildlife ponds of up to 5,000L, or community fish ponds of up to 2,500L. It features a 7w PLS UVC lamp providing you with crystal clear water. Having the UVC included inside the filter is perfect for your pond fish. This model is ideally designed for smaller sized ponds.
• Swell Pond Filter 10,000 - Designed for wildlife ponds of up to 10,000L, or community fish ponds of up to 5000L. It features a stronger 11w PLS UVC lamp to keep on top of discoloured water, therefore keeping it clear by removing any algae cells. This is ideal for both small and medium sized ponds.

What is included in the Kits?

The Kit version includes everything you need to get your pond up and running:

• Swell Pond Filter 5,000 Kit - The 5000 Kit comes with a 1,200lph filter pump, that will provide a head height of up to 1m. This includes 5m of pipework to hook the filter and pump up, as well as 2 clips to secure it. The pump is low maintenance, energy efficient and includes the 7w UVC built in. 
• Swell Pond Filter 10,000 Kit - The 10000 Kit comes with a 2,500lph filter pump, with a head height of approximately 2.2m. This also comes with 5m of flexible pipework, as well as 2 clips for securing it. Designed to be energy efficient and low maintenance, with an 11w UVC built in.
