Origin: Hailing from the freshwater habitats of Africa, particularly found in river systems across countries like Nigeria and Cameroon, the African Baby Whale Fish thrives in slow-moving waters abundant in vegetation and subdued lighting. Feeding: These omnivorous creatures have a versatile diet, accepting both live and prepared foods. They relish in a diet consisting of small live or frozen fare such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and high-quality flake or pellet foods. Tank Mates: Peaceful and non-aggressive, African Baby Whale Fish generally cohabit well with other calm and non-confrontational species. Ideal tank mates include other peaceful community fish like tetras, peaceful barbs, and small catfish species. Aggression: With a docile temperament, they display minimal aggression towards tank mates.
