Albino Congo Tetra Phenacogrammus Interruptus 4cm "Introducing the stunning Congo Tetra, a vibrant gem for any freshwater aquarium! Originating from the Congo River Basin in Africa, these peaceful and sociable fish are a delight to behold with their shimmering metallic hues of blue, red, and yellow. Feeding these omnivores is a breeze as they eagerly accept high-quality flake food, supplemented with live or frozen treats like bloodworms and brine shrimp. They thrive in a well-planted tank with ample swimming space and subdued lighting, preferring slightly acidic to neutral water (pH 6.0-7.5) and temperatures between 75-82‚°F (24-28‚°C). Known for their amicable nature, Congo Tetras are excellent community fish, best suited with non-aggressive tank mates such as other tetras, peaceful barbs, rasboras, or dwarf cichlids. Their non-aggressive demeanor makes them a perfect addition to community tanks, but their long fins may be vulnerable to fin-nipping species. Perfect for aquarists of intermediate experience level, the Congo Tetra is relatively hardy, requiring consistent water quality and regular maintenance. With proper care, these enchanting fish will reward you with their graceful presence and vibrant colors, adding a touch of elegance to any aquarium setup."
