Albino Pangasius Catfish Pangasius Sutchi 5cm Overview: The Albino Pangasius Catfish is a striking freshwater fish known for its unique albino coloration. With its sleek body and distinctive appearance, it adds an eye-catching element to any aquarium. Origin: Native to Southeast Asia, particularly found in the Mekong and Chao Phraya river basins, this species thrives in warm, tropical waters. Feeding: These catfish are omnivores and accept a wide range of foods, including pellets, flakes, live, and frozen foods. They eagerly consume algae, detritus, and leftover food, contributing to a cleaner tank environment. Tank Mates: They are generally peaceful and can coexist with other non-aggressive species of similar size. Compatible tank mates include peaceful community fish like tetras, barbs, and other catfish species. Aggression: Albino Pangasius Catfish are peaceful by nature and rarely display aggressive behavior. However, they may grow large and could accidentally intimidate smaller tank mates due to their size. Experience Level: Suitable for aquarists of intermediate experience level and above. While not particularly demanding in terms of care, their size and potential growth need consideration when setting up their habitat. Water Parameters: They prefer water temperatures between 75-82°F (24-28°C), a pH range of 6.5-7.5, and moderate water flow.
